About this Print:
Photographer Fred LaBounty shot this image on the Rio Vista Bluff Ranch near McFaddin while competing in the 2007 Coastal Bend Wildlife Photo Contest. Along with winning the "Deer" category, this image won the "People's Choice" and "Kids' Choice" awards. LaBounty says he had to get up around dawn and hide in a portable blind to get this shot.
